My friend asked me to make a card for her parents' Sapphire wedding anniversary. I borrowed some of their wedding photos so that I could make it really personal.
I've scanned the photo onto ivory linen-finish paper, then used a really dark blue patterned card and this beautiful blue textured card with an embossed pattern. I've finished it off with an organza ribbon. I hope it's 'sapphire' enough, although everyone seems to think that sapphires are a different colour!
I finally got to visit Dawn Bibby's shop (in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire) today, with the excuse of buying some special card and found the whole experience far too exciting. I could have spent a fortune in there! It's like an alladin's den of cardmaking. Highly recommended!
